Secret garden (1993)

Secret Garden is classical children's novel. When I was a kid, I saw this book in my school library. I read few pages during everyday short break. I was really attracted to name of the book. Maybe as a child I wanted to have a place that in secret, and I can do whatever I want in there. Secret garden really sounds like a heaven to me. However, for some reason I never finished this book. As time passed, I even forgot the part that I had read.

More than 10 years later, recently I was wandering on Netflix and saw Secret Garden (1993), without second thought I watched it. At that time it was almost mid-night. I was thinking maybe I could watch half or it, and finish the remainder next day or later. However, once I started the movie, I just couldn't stop it. I was totally attracted. When the movie ended, my tears fell down. I mean it was a happy ending story. I cried because it was really touching. Btw the music played in movie were beautiful. Occasionally, I would play this movie just for music at the ending part. Now it is one of my favorite movies. Sometimes, a great movie don't need any violent or sex scenes to be memorable, just a story which can reach peoples' heart is enough.

As I love this movie, curious make me did some research on those little actor/actress. Well, they were cute, I was wondering are they still acting or not. Btw they all look just like when they were kids :)

He quite acting after Secret Garden. He said he prefer to be a teacher than an actor. Now he grew up, some people said he become a teacher. Some said he is in other profession, and some said he plans to back to big screen. What's the truth? I don't know. Here a video that has him. I have no problem to recognize him, but he change quite a bit.

Mr. Cockroach PLEASE LET ME ALONE!!!

I hate cockroach or any other kinds of insects. However, it is like a unavoidable thing that once a while, they will visit your home. Last Wednesday night, I was studying for my final on my couch. Suddenly I saw something black flew from my door to the curtain. I dropped my book immediately and went to get my Raid. But, once I got it, the cockroach like black creature just disappeared. I just sprayed like a crazy to any possible place it might be hiding. If that night I didn't have to study, I would spray until I saw its dead body. But, due to time issue I back to study with my long pants, sweatshirt on.

Next day, I still couldn't find its body. Actually I didn't really try to find it because I afraid if I try really hard to find it, if it is still alive, it would attack me. So, I sprayed Raid again around the room. As the last spot I saw it was the curtain near my bed, I just decided sleep on my couch until I saw its dead body. 3 nights passed. On Saturday day, I was using my computer on my couch, but I heard some unusual sound came from the kitchen. I went to my kitchen and investigated, and Mr. cockroach was there. I was sad and happy. Sad was because Mr. Cockroach still alive after I sprayed that many Raid. Happy was now I saw Mr. Cockroach, so I can kill it. I got my frisbee and I knew I had only one chance before it noticed me. BANG! I got it. I was like finally I can sleep on my bed. Sorry Mr. cockroach, you just walked too loudly.

I really don't understand, all the windows were shut, and door was closed too...where did it come from?

Me and insects are enemy. I will never never never never never never never allow any insects to live with me under the same roof, and I am super sensitive to insects.
