Dr. Horrible

Dr. Horrible in deed is a cute character. He is cute not because of his appearance, but his character. He claims himself Dr. Horrible, and mastered horribleness. However, when he met the one he loves, he is so shy in front of her. I don't know, I just feel like guys who feel shy before the ones they love are so cute. They make mistakes that normally they wouldn't make. :) Now Dr. Horrible definitely one of my favorite villain characters. It is not usual that a villain can be so cute at the same time. Btw I didn't know that Neil Patrick Harris can sing! He is really a multi-talented actor! I heard Dr. Horrible 2 is coming. I am looking forward to it. I really wanna know what Dr. Horrible will do as Penny is dead.  :(

Btw my first experience growing green onion in the water is failed today. I don't know what went wrong, as it was growing healthily. Maybe I will try it again later.

Casey's New Orleans Snowballs

One a boiling hot day in summer, what can you do to chill you down fast? One of the best solution is get a snowball (shaved ice) from Casey's. I love shaved ice, but not all of them. One of the best was made by my mom like long time ago when we still had the shaved ice machine at home. The one at Houston chinatown with fruit was good, but isn't that too big for one person? I mean unless I am really hungry, otherwise I don't feel like I wanna buy one. Voilà~~~finally went to Casey's and ordered "Boston Cream Pie" and it was AMAZING! With concentrated milk and other ingredients, the junior size is sell for $2 (included tax). Within a few bites, it cooled me down instantly. Summer just doesn't seem hot anymore. haha I love summer :D Gotta try other snowballs from Casey's, specially Casey's Famous Chocolate!!!

Watched the movie "Skyline" I was totally confused. Lot of things just didn't make sense to me. Also, the ending kept me wonder what happen next, urggg I don't like it.

Secret garden (1993)

Secret Garden is classical children's novel. When I was a kid, I saw this book in my school library. I read few pages during everyday short break. I was really attracted to name of the book. Maybe as a child I wanted to have a place that in secret, and I can do whatever I want in there. Secret garden really sounds like a heaven to me. However, for some reason I never finished this book. As time passed, I even forgot the part that I had read.

More than 10 years later, recently I was wandering on Netflix and saw Secret Garden (1993), without second thought I watched it. At that time it was almost mid-night. I was thinking maybe I could watch half or it, and finish the remainder next day or later. However, once I started the movie, I just couldn't stop it. I was totally attracted. When the movie ended, my tears fell down. I mean it was a happy ending story. I cried because it was really touching. Btw the music played in movie were beautiful. Occasionally, I would play this movie just for music at the ending part. Now it is one of my favorite movies. Sometimes, a great movie don't need any violent or sex scenes to be memorable, just a story which can reach peoples' heart is enough.

As I love this movie, curious make me did some research on those little actor/actress. Well, they were cute, I was wondering are they still acting or not. Btw they all look just like when they were kids :)

Dickson- Andrew Knott

He is still acting. I think he is a cute guy. If you type his name is youtube, it is not hard to find his videos.

Mary- Kate Maberly

She is still acting too

Colin- Heydon Prowse

He quite acting after Secret Garden. He said he prefer to be a teacher than an actor. Now he grew up, some people said he become a teacher. Some said he is in other profession, and some said he plans to back to big screen. What's the truth? I don't know. Here a video that has him. I have no problem to recognize him, but he change quite a bit.
