Other side

Sometimes I feel like I really don't want to get too close to anyone. It seems like once you know someone, be friend with that person, and then getting closer, EXACTLY right this POINT, the drama starts! As that person doesn't consider that I am a stranger anymore, the other side of that person starts to appear. Sometimes that side really scared me. Like I don't really see that coming. Although I can always back off, I don't want that feeling. Like I don't know you anymore. That shocked me.

Sometimes it is good to living by myself, so I can always have a drama-free space/time.

Overwhelmed

My summer is half way gone, and things are getting ugly. Two online classes, and full time working everyday are taking my breath away. I start to doubt that am I really able to do it. I really want to do well on these two classes. All I lack is time.

I don't know was I sick or sleepy or what, my voice sounded super lower this morning. It sounded so weird that I didn't even want to listen my voice lol. I wonder if eating lemon would help, but lemons are too sour for my mouth. I feel like it would burn my throat :)

Ice cream cake from H.E.B. Actually it tastes like ice cream sandwich, but the better version. I like it. It was my dinner some day from last week. Yeah~ diet with ice cream cake!

Dang it! It is freaking CUTE!

It is Canon Wonder Camera. A camera that canon will (maybe) put on the market in 2030 (cross fingers). With one single integrated lens that have superb focal length from macro to 500mm. It has touch-sensitive interface and only shoot video, however as it has ultra-high resolution, every frame will be very shape and people can just copy the frame and make it a still picture.

Gosh..... I really want it. Why 2030... 20 years ...that's too long. Mr. Canon, could you just motivate your development team little bit more, and put it on the market little bit earlier, so you can beat other brands out? Seriously, that is a high chance that I will buy it in next few year if it available. But 20 years? I don't know I still want it. lol

btw, actually after I posted the Red, White and Blueberry Shake, two days later I went to Mighty Fine Burgers again. lol I craved for their burger, and I wasn't really that hungry that day but I ordered their regular hamburger instead of the Jr. hamburger. I wanna see if the reg. one is more tasty. And the result was... heck YES. The patty was really big and yum. Btw, the reg one was too big for me hahaha. Super full after I finished it. Oh, I almost forget to say that finally I saw their auto hand-washing machine. wahaha that's was FUN!

Strawberry & Cream

Actually I have lot of interests. One of them is cooking. It is true that in the past I didn't really cook a lot, but it was because I don't have time. School and work used my 70% of my time, and I need to sleep . . . so I didn't have much time left. When I have time to cooked, I won't lie that usually I failed. Sometimes it tasted okay, but it looked horrible. Sometimes it looked fine, but tasted really bad. And, sometimes its appearance and taste both suck. However, occasionally I did make a good one. Whatever the result is, cooking is fun. From some boring individual things to a thing (maybe) really delicious. Isn't it amazing? lol

Today, I made a dessert. Basically it was strawberry and cream. It sounds easy, and actually it was easy to make. As I don't have much kitchen tools, it is better to make something easy. (shhhhh... don't tell the others if you know that was my excuse of being lazy hehe)

Red, White and Blueberry Shake

On July 4th, accidently I heard about Might Fine Burger had free shake. Of course I wouldn't miss this chance to taste their shake. As I tried their burgers, and chopped chili dogs, and they are delicious, I had been longing to try their shake and fries.

At 2:15, I arrived Mighty Fine Burger. It was packed and about 10 people were lining up in front of me. However, the staffs worked there were super fast. I ordered chopped chili dog and their fresh cut crinkle fries. When I was waiting for my free shake it was kind of surprise that I saw them using Blue Bell Ice-cream for the shake. And when I got it, another surprise was "Wow! their free shake is big" When I had my first sip of it "OMG! It is so yummy! I can taste the berry!" It is one of the best shakes I have in my life.

Speaking of shakes, I still remember two weeks ago I had Wendy's chocolate shake, it was too sweet that I couldn't finished it and threw it away. (Sorry, I didn't want to waste the food, but I just couldn't finished it)

These were my lunch :) The fries were good and I didn't expect that much either. It was fresh, and straight cut from potatoes. Compare the chili dog I got last time, this time it had less chopped sausage. Well, they were busy, I understand that :) Gosh, I really like the shake. I am wondering, if I order the strawberry shake from them, would it be the same as this one? At this moment, I want their hamburger and red, white, and blueberry shake :)

I heard from the radio said that the ice cream sales actually are more in winter than in summer. When I heard that news I was like "Are you kidding me?" . . . after two seconds "Hahahaha, GREAT! I am actually not that weird as there are lot of people out there eat ice cream in WINTER." I was extremely happy after I heard the news. I felt like I found an excuse to eat more ice cream in winter, and in the future if anyone says I'm weird, I got proof to fight back hehehe ^+++^

When I first moved to Austin, the first area I was living in was Far West. I love this community. It was so quiet, pretty, and safe. When I was living there I ran at night in the neighborhood by myself after work. Around 10-11 pm. Well, I do not recommended others should do that, especially girls. Even the most peaceful place could have bad guys living in. Precaution is better than cure! But, I won't lie that running at night is a really cool experience. The moon and the stars were so pretty. No one would disturb you. The feeling was like I am in the would of my own. Run freely like a free cow (<-- yup cow not horse. First, I don't run fast and running cow is the happiest animal in my mind ^ ^). How red my face was and how tired I looked like wasn't matter because nobody was there. I could ran while my arms were doing some kind of weird dance lol . . .blah blah blah. Anyway, I just like this neighborhood, and I would like to live there if it wasn't that FAR away from school. Yup, I moved out of this neighborhood because of the location. However, I constantly visit this neighborhood. Recently I saw an advertisement of a frozen yogurt store called SNOW HOUSE YOGURT. At first I didn't pay much attention, but when I saw it is located in far west, I was like IT IS TIME TO VISIT FAR WEST! To me, location is important haha.

This is a self-service yogurt store. When you get in the store, choose the size of cup you need, and get the flavor/flavors of yogurt you want, and then the toppings. Lastly, put the cup the the weigh, and pay for it. You get how much you want to get. I don't know when did they open. To me everything is pretty new and clean. They have tart, cookie and cream, chocolate, strawberry, vanilla, pink grapefruit, mango, cheesecake, blueberry, taro... (I forget the other flavors hehe). Total 16 flavors to choose. Some are non-dairy, and some are non-sugar. I didn't try the non-sugar, and non-dairy, because I am a big fan of milk and sugar lol. Btw I think they change the flavors in the store sometimes.

I love their indoor decoration. It is mainly pink and yellow. It gave me a soft, relaxing feeling, and I don't know why I especially love their ceiling fan. It was so cute! Their seating were comfy. That was a rainy day when I visited this store. I enjoyed my yogurt and reading my book. I felt so peaceful. I tried tart, vanilla, strawberry, and chocolate. They were pretty good. Although it is not the best frozen yogurt I have eaten, it is not disappointed. I would go back and try other flavors. Sometimes eating in a local small shop give you a different feeling. Simple but great. I believe we don't need everything has to be the best. As long as we enjoyed them, it is already a great experience.

Crave for food

Before this summer, every time when I hear people said their favorite book is dictionary (I think I heard it mostly from movies or TV shows, I don't have luck to meet one though lol), I had two impressions immediately:

1. Wow! He/She must be really smart and knows lot of words! And then I'm sure I will ask him/her the prettiest word that he/she has even seen :)
2. (secretly) Are you serious? There are actually people on the earth really like to read DICTIONARY?

Well, actually I do admire people who love to read dictionary, and it is an elegant hobby. I did try to read it, but I fell asleep pretty quick like there was a sleeping spell on it lol. However, recently I am addicted to a weird activity. I can say it is similar to reading dictionary, but my intention to do that activity is not that elegant. I am addicted to google map and zoom it to the street level, and find all the food places in my city. You know what, that's so amazing! I have been living in this city almost 3 years, and I didn't know there were so many food places out there! I was totally fascinated. I wanna to try them all! I know I will do that, because I had already studied some of the menus, and I can't wait to try them.

Haha my mind is all about food. By the way, this summer I am trying to lost some weight. It sounds like I have a contradiction is going on here. But, hey people always say if you want something work, the first step is believing it. Like one of the quote from Alice in Wonderland "the only way to achieve the impossible is to believe it is possible" (recently watched this movie, and I LOVE IT ) Yup, I believe I can try out new food and still able to lost some weight this summer. YES, I CAN lol

Adidas new product *v*

These Woody's adidas shoes look absolutely adorable ! If I have one I would wear it everywhere. I would wear white tee and short jeans with these shoes. They make me feel happy even by just looking at them. Happy is simple.

Btw, if they put the word "Woody" on the tongue instead of the picture, that would be great!
