Chocolate Croissant @ Whole Foods Market

Thursday, June 16, 2011

As I was at North Austin, I thought it would be great to visit Whole Foods, get some Dry Soda and try the Thai noodle soup thing that I always wanna try. Unfortunately, it wasn't one of my lucky days that they only had the flavors that I didn't want to buy, and the Whole Foods Market at North Austin was pretty small that they didn't have thai noodle thing that I wanna try. I was very hungry. That's why I got this chocolate croissant.

At first I was thinking it might not be smart to buy pastries at 7:30 p.m., because they had been sitting there all day long and probably not too fresh. But due to the fact that I couldn't resist the chocolate temptation, I bought it anyway, and proved I was wrong. This croissant was great. Inside the croissant was still pretty moist. The chocolate portion was right and it wasn't too sweet. Actually they sold a regular croissant at the same price as chocolate one. Well, if you are not on diet, and care the calories that much, definitely should buy chocolate one over the regular one if you want croissant.

A funny side story was, when I was enjoying my croissant, there was a staff cleaning the table, and he asked me did I want the pepper (he was holding the pepper that was from other table)…..I was like... looked at my croissant, and then the pepper, and then him. After a few seconds he said "oh" and went away. I felt like maybe I should add some pepper next time to see how will it taste like lol

Price: $2.29 (tax free ^^ )
